Several ecumenical groups utilize our building for meetings.

An interdenominational women's Bible study meets Thursday mornings and evenings in the fall, winter and spring. 9-11 am or 6:30 - 8:30 pm. To sign up, call Meg Parfitt at 315-794-2141
Hamilton Village Area Clergy
Meets monthly. The clergy and their churches sponsor the Good Friday Walk, and participate in Veterans Day and Memorial Day Events in Hamilton.
The Interfaith Service Project**
The Holiday Project is held at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Holiday gifts are given to families in need. This Christmas, the Interfaith Service Group sponsored a Wish List for the residents of Hamilton Manor in Hubbardsville.
Operation Christmas Child**
Providing shoeboxes filled with gifts for children around the world.

Our fellowship hall and meeting rooms are used for many community groups throughout the year including:
Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for their fundraising Christmas Sale.
Red Cross Blood Banks
Sharing the gift of life with strangers in critical need.

Our local community is active at First Baptist Church. We not only serve the local community, but also the community utilizes First Baptist for meetings and events. We may be one of the oldest buildings in Hamilton, but we pulsate with life and vitality.

Projects for Mission
Food Pantries and Meals
The need to provide food for families in Hamilton area and Madison County is growing. Donations to the food pantries of non-perishable items are needed as are monetary donations. Volunteers are always welcome!
The CROP Walk was organized in response to hunger locally and regionally. Each year it has been very successful in recruiting walkers and raising funds. The Interfaith Service Project is organizing the CROP Walk.
The First Baptist Church Deacons Fund responds to emergency needs of area residents through our church office and staff (via a voucher system).
Volunteers for Mission Projects in the Local Community are welcome.

International Student Fellowship
First Baptist Church has started a fellowship with International Students attending Colgate University. We will befriend and serve the international students in our community by ministering to their felt needs through activities and practical help.
