Filled bags were distributed at St. Mary's Parish Center on November 17th. It is expected that 150 local families will be helped this year.
The church hosted the Holiday Auxiliary Sale to benefit the Community Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 1st. The sale raised more than $8,000 for the hospital.
Friendship Club will meet again on Sunday, March 24th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the church.
F.B.C. members stayed after worship for the Annual Meeting on the frigid morning of January 20th to review the 2018 Annual Report and on the 27th, when there was a quorum, to vote on proposals.
Also on the 27th, the congregation had its last service with Interim Pastor Leon Oaks-Lee. Following worship, Hamilton's Curtain Call catered a farewell reception for him.

Reverend Leon Oaks-Lee led worship for the last time as our interim pastor on January 27th. During the service, members of the congregation expressed gratitude to him and reflected on his faithfulness, dedication, competence, and leadership in preparing the church for its next pastor. After his work, we as the church better understand who we are and what we aim to accomplish in the future. We wish him the best as he reenters retirement and goes on to help other churches, which we know will be fortunate to work with him.
